Rates/FAQ

1. How much does it cost?

Bobby Terry charges a flat-rate of $5,500.00 per song with a two (2) song minimum. This is a very competitive rate for musical productions of this quality level as most "major labels" spend upwards of $15,000.00 per song for productions of the same quality. This is generally due to high producer fees and paying musicians double-scale (which is customary in most "major label" projects in Nashville). Although for most independent projects, Bobby and the other musicians will work, with the highest level of integrity, for standard scale and reduced production fees.

2. What is included in this price?

All studio, engineer, musicians, pre-production,mixing, mastering, and producer fees are included in this rate. CD duplication is not included in the production cost although Bobby can recommend a CD manufacturer according to your needs.

3. How long does the production process take?

An average album project containing 10-12 songs will generally take 4-6 weeks to complete from start-to-finish due to availability/schedule of musicians, engineers, and studios. A smaller "label-pitch" project of maybe 4 songs would take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete considering the above.

4. Will Bobby Terry produce any artist?

No, he will only accept projects from artists that he believes have the vocal ability to make a good record. Doing otherwise would damage his reputation as a producer and be a waste of time and money for the artist.

5. Does Bobby Terry always play all the instrumentation?

No. As of lately, Bobby combines his talents along with those of Nashville's "A-List" musicians. Bobby puts a lot of energy into pre-production so the tracking session will move smoothly. Bobby also utilizes his talents as a musician in the overdub phase of the project.
